wonderland : Portland
september 8 & 9, 2012
....Chicago Renegade is just around the
corner and let me tell you, I AM SO EXCITED! Aside from having to work 70-80
hours a week until I leave to get everything done in time, I am stoked for this
market that is guarenteed to be FANTASTIC! I can't complain about the hours
though cause I really LOVE what I do :) There are so many things I'm looking
forward to....selling to customers, getting feedback, seeing all the amazing
work by artists, meeting those artists, and seeing Chicago for the first time.
It's bound to be an incredible trip.
If your in the Chicago area, I hope you can pop by the booth and check
out the new Fall & Winter lines for the Bohemian Fox & the Vibrant
Voyage Collections. And I'm just a little excited (ok...maybe a lot excited) to
introduce the Vibrant Folly Line of necklaces & Peaceful Bird
Earrings.
the mossy fox has moved!

....It's true, The Mossy Fox has moved, from Santa Fe, Texas
to Cottonwood, Arizona! We were sad to say goodbye to the craft market in
Texas, but so excited to get involved in the Arizona craft market! I can't wait
to get some pieces in some local shops and to get connected with other artists.
In due time though.

...if you haven't heard of Renegade, check it out! It's one
of my favorite craft markets, that I've quickly become very willing to travel
for! The market is a two day event that takes place in Chicago, Bosten, San
Fransisco, Las Angelas & Austin, twice a year during spring & winter.
Renegade in Austin is only a few years old but that didn't take away from the
amazing artists there. It was a really fun & incredible two days of meeting
customeres & other artists....which is why I will be going to Chicago
Renegade in September. WooHoo!

...it was a warm spring day in Dallas, Texas & there was
craft excitement in the air - it was a beautiful thing. The Dallas Handmade
Bash was an incredible market, the biggest one I had done, which wasn't saying
much since it was only my second one. But the crafters & organizers who put
on the market did a truely incredible job, making an event that was a blast for
both customers & artists. I loved every minute there and hope to go back to
the Holiday Bash....which I hear rumors of that it's one of the best markets around!

....the very first market for The Mossy Fox did, before I
really knew what the shop would become. While the market was bit of a sad turn
out, I made sales and got great feedback from customers and other artist, which
reafermed my work as a beginning jewelry designer. And the rest is history :)
